I like the ending sequence where the titan towers over Winslow and forms a spear out of his own hand and arm (gloop gloop shoop). It worked well.

The format was proving to be tricky and I didn’t want to rely too much on people jumping high or falling from the sky, but that’s what ended up happening here. In fact, it happens in Episodes 1, 2, and 4, and in that final instance, I allowed Kimmy to actually comment on it.

The panel where the titan gets shot in the head was inspired by Chester Gould. He would always indicate the trail of a bullet with a a single, ruled out black line that typically ended in the noggin of an unsuspecting victim or villain. There was something about that simple mark that feels devastating to me, like nothing could be more final.
